August Report

August was a full and fruitful month at Sitio Shalom.

Ministry Apartment Expansion

Major construction took place throughout the month to improve the Ministry Apartment. New concrete flooring was poured, and fresh walls were raised in preparation for a kitchen addition. It has been a busy but exciting season as we take steps toward creating a more complete and welcoming space for ministry guests and workers. Watching the house take shape reminds us that just as the structure grows stronger, God is also building something enduring within this ministry.

Ladies’ Conference

Guta had the honor of speaking at a ladies’ conference on the theme of serving God by serving others. The Spirit of God moved powerfully, touching hearts and inspiring many women to recommit themselves to service and love in action. It was a beautiful reminder that even the smallest act done in love can become a reflection of God’s character.

Encouraging Visit with Pastor Carlos

We were blessed by an unexpected connection with Pastor Carlos and his wife, faithful leaders of a ministry that serves pastors. They were in our area visiting another ministry when they heard about Sitio Shalom and decided to stop by. Our conversation was rich with insight, encouragement, and shared passion for God’s work. Encounters like these remind us how God orchestrates relationships at the right time to strengthen and expand His work.

Looking Ahead

As construction continues, we are filled with gratitude for how far God has brought us. Every step forward—whether in cement and brick or in hearts and lives—is another reminder of His faithfulness. Please continue to pray with us as we move toward completing the kitchen and preparing the space for greater ministry use in the months ahead.

“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.” — Psalm 127:1 (KJV)
