June Report

June was a very busy and encouraging month at Sitio Shalom.

Early in the month, we had the privilege of hosting a missionary for three days as she walked through a difficult season of transition. It was a blessing to provide a place of rest, encouragement, and fellowship during this time.

On June 12, Brazil celebrates Valentine's Day. Guta and I were invited to speak at Grace Baptist Church during their annual outreach banquet. This special event is designed to reach unchurched people in the community, providing an opportunity to share the love of God. The evening was beautifully organized, and we were grateful to be part of such an effective outreach.

On June 20, I was honored to speak at the Rio Grande do Sul Baptist Pastors' Conference. It was a wonderful time of worship, fellowship, biblical training, and encouragement. I had the opportunity to share some of my life experiences as well as introduce the Sitio Shalom ministry to many pastors who were hearing about it for the first time. Shortly after I began speaking, a power transformer overloaded, causing the electricity to go out. We simply continued the message without amplification or lights for another 30 minutes. The power was not restored until 12 hours later, but God's Word continued to go forth despite the interruption.

While I was attending the pastors' conference, Guta was invited to speak at PIB Caxias, as both the senior and associate pastors were attending the conference. She shared from Paul's letter to the Ephesians, encouraging the congregation to remember their first love for the Word of God.

As always, we are deeply grateful for your faithful prayers and financial support. Your partnership makes this ministry possible, and we thank God for each of you.

In our Savior’s service,

Guta and Jim
