March Report

Sitio Shalom Ministries was very busy this March.

On March 8th, in celebration of Women’s Day in Brazil, Guta was invited to speak at Igreja Batista da Videira (Vine Baptist Church) in Flores da Cunha. She delivered an excellent message from Matthew 25:1–13 on the importance of being prepared.

On March 10th, Guta hosted a tea party for four Radical Missionaries in our area. The table was beautifully set, and we all dressed up (including me—I was the driver). I opened the car doors for them and chauffeured them to the house. Guta shared a message from Genesis 37, speaking on the significance of the coat of many colors and the importance of remaining strong in our faith during difficult times.

On March 19th, we hosted a pastor and his family for the day, giving them an opportunity to rest and share their hearts. Later, we were told that their time at Sitio Shalom was the best day of their week.

On March 26th, we traveled to Bahia, Brazil, where we were guest speakers for the 29th Anniversary of Igreja Batista Parauso in Elisio Medrado. It was a wonderful celebration. I had the privilege of speaking on both Saturday and Sunday. The first message was titled “Are You a True Follower of Jesus?” and the second was “Heaven.” Pastor Antonio and Sister Rita were incredible hosts, and we were blessed to spend six days with them. We returned home on April 1st.

A special thank you to all who support this ministry. It is through the Lord’s mercy and your prayers that Guta and I are able to continue encouraging pastors and missionaries on the front lines. Thank you again.

In our Savior’s service,

Guta and Jim
